- A choice of vanilla Terraria or tModLoader.
- The live console, settings editor and file manager.
- A public address that friends can join during the trial.
- Hosting in Europe or North America, subject to trial capacity.
No card and no surprise charge
Starting the trial does not open Stripe Checkout and does not ask for a card. After 24 hours the server stops. Nothing is charged automatically. We keep the files during the normal grace period, giving you time to continue with a paid plan if the group wants to keep playing.
Can I keep the world after the trial?
Yes. Renew the server from your dashboard and the same container is extended. Your world, settings, uploaded files and server address stay with it. You do not need to download a world and upload it to a replacement server.
Trying tModLoader and Workshop mods
Choose tModLoader when you add the game server. Its Mods tab accepts Steam Workshop links and installs the selected items when you save and restart. The 2 GB trial is a good fit for testing tModLoader itself and a light mod set. Large content collections may need one of the larger paid plans.

Why email verification is required
A real server consumes real CPU, memory, storage and public network capacity. Email verification helps keep the limited trial slots available for Terraria groups rather than automated signups. Each verified account can use one free trial, and networks have a separate rolling allowance.
How to start
- Open the Terraria hosting page and choose the region closest to your players.
- Select Start free trial and create an account.
- Verify the email address using the link we send.
- Return to the Terraria page, start the trial, then add vanilla or tModLoader from your dashboard.
