Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
1. Who we are
GHosting (ghosting.gg) is operated by Bytewave OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a server you agree to these terms.
2. The service
We rent you a managed game server instance: a slice of our hardware running the game you chose, with a control panel for starting, stopping, configuring and monitoring it. Plans differ in memory, CPU share and player capacity as described on each game's page.
3. Your account
- You must provide a working email address — it is how we reach you about your server, billing and support.
- Purchases made through guest checkout create an account bound to the email you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.
4. Payments and renewals
- Plans are monthly subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Promotional discounts apply for the period stated in the promotion.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and retry. Servers with unpaid renewals may be suspended and, after a grace period, deleted.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your server keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for; no further charges are made. We keep your server files for at least 7 days after expiry so you can come back or request a backup — after that they are deleted permanently.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use your server to:
- host, distribute or link to unlawful content;
- attack, scan or disrupt other systems or networks, or send spam;
- mine cryptocurrency or run workloads unrelated to game hosting;
- deliberately circumvent resource limits of your plan or interfere with other customers' servers.
You are responsible for complying with the licence terms (EULA) of the game you host. We may suspend or terminate servers that violate this section, with a refund of unused time at our discretion except in cases of serious abuse.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep servers online around the clock and provide DDoS mitigation on a best-effort basis, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever practical.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost game progress. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
9. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because your server is provisioned and usable immediately, you consent at checkout to the service starting right away; if you withdraw, we may deduct a proportional charge for the time the service was available to you. Our voluntary 72-hour money-back guarantee is more generous than this in most cases.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia; consumers retain any mandatory protections of their home country. Questions? See how to contact us.
